How Samples are Distributed to the Requestor

Once the completed Agreement (PDF) has been received by the NMDP, the sample(s) will be forwarded to the requestor as soon as they can be prepared.

Samples are shipped directly from the NMDP Research Sample Repository (Blood Centers of the Pacific, Irwin Center, San Francisco, California).

The requestor will be asked to pay shipping and handling costs.
